Tech Boost for Sengerema

Thanks to a diverse group of individual donors, companies, other sponsors, and helping hands. With their support, we can initiate the establishment of a new network within the Sengerema hospital. Last year, the government announced their decision to receive all reports, patient records, and insurance claims digitally, a departure from the previous paper-based system.

Following an appeal to our supporters and leveraging both old and new connections in our network, the Simba Health Foundation has received over 100 refurbished desktop computers (thanks to Het Streek Lyceum and Technova College in Ede), funds (including contributions from the brothers at [location]), network cabling, switches, servers, and more (thanks to various companies and colleague institutions).

There is active construction, drilling, and wiring taking place, including the crossing of a busy road to reach the consultation office on the other side of the hospital. Most departments will have their own terminals, and the new operating room complex will be seamlessly integrated as well.

We are grateful for the opportunity to assist the Sengerema hospital in working more effectively and efficiently in this manner.
