Surgeon Erik Staal's work at Mwanza's St. Clare Hospital consists of almost 90% planned care. In Sengerema Hospital it is rather the other way around, 90% trauma and 10% planned.

It's great that an anonymous donor has provided a new Emergency Department (ER) in Sengerema through Simba Health. While another donor funded emergency room training for hospital staff. And of course that there will soon be a new ambulance in front of the emergency room entrance.

The ED is almost ready, making it possible to better handle and treat the many trauma cases and, it is expected, to save more lives and offer prospects for recovery. Something to be happy about.
